Led Zeppelin, one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, was formed in 1968 by John Bonham, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, and Robert Plant. The band emerged from the remains of The Yardbirds, with Page recruiting Plant, Bonham, and Jones to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released their self-titled debut album, marking the start of a 12-year reign as one of the biggest and most innovative rock bands in the world.

The Led Zeppelin reissue campaign began in June 2014 with deluxe editions of Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II, and Led Zeppelin III entering the top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. These albums also achieved international success with top chart positions in multiple countries.

The second round of reissues included Led Zeppelin IV and Houses Of The Holy, both newly remastered by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page. The albums were accompanied by a second disc of unreleased music related to each album.

In 1973, Led Zeppelin topped the charts again with Houses Of The Holy, featuring iconic tracks such as "The Song Remains The Same" and "No Quarter." The album was certified diamond by the RIAA for selling over 11 million copies.

The companion audio disc for Houses Of The Holy contains seven unreleased tracks, including rough and working mixes for "The Ocean" and "Dancing Days," providing a deeper look into the recording sessions of these classic songs.

Led Zeppelin has been recognized for its pivotal role in music history, with inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, the Polar Music Prize, and a tribute concert at London’s O2 Arena. In 2012, the band was honored at the Kennedy Center Honors, and in 2014, they won their first Grammy for Best Rock Album with "Celebration Day," capturing their live performance at the Ertegun tribute concert.

Throughout their career, Led Zeppelin has sold over 300 million albums worldwide, cementing their legacy as one of the greatest and most influential rock bands of all time.
