LED Zeppelin II 2014

Led Zeppelin came together in 1968 with members John Bonham, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, and Robert Plant. The band went on to become one of the most influential and successful groups in modern music, selling over 300 million albums worldwide. Their songs are celebrated in rock 'n roll history, resonating with fans globally. With the 2014 release of deluxe editions of their first three albums, Led Zeppelin launched a reissue program for all nine of its studio albums, each remastered by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page.

The band wrote and recorded most of Led Zeppelin II while touring to support their debut album, and it was released just seven months later in October 1969. The album features beloved tracks such as "Ramble On" and "Heartbreaker," as well as "Whole Lotta Love," considered one of the greatest rock 'n roll songs of all time. Led Zeppelin II is certified diamond by the RIAA, with over 12 million copies sold.

Led Zeppelin has been honored for its pivotal role in music history, with inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1995, a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005, and the Polar Music Prize in Stockholm in 2006. Founding members Jones, Page, and Plant, along with John Bonham's son Jason, performed at a tribute concert for Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun in 2007. The band was also recognized at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012 for its contribution to American culture. In January 2014, the band won its first Grammy award for Best Rock Album for "Celebration Day," capturing their live performance at the Ertegun tribute concert.
